Since 2017
Some stories are born with means.
Others are born with a conviction.
In 2017, PortMix came into being with no capital, no reputation, no certainty other than this: honest work, carried out with rigour, always finds its place.
Nasuf Biljibani started from almost nothing. He carried with him only his trade, patiently learned, a love of work done well, and the will to build something that reflected who he was — a project that would carry his name, but above all, the values he wanted to pass on to his family.
The first projects were modest. Yet each was carried out with the same commitment. A door, a wardrobe, a walk-in closet: no piece of work was ever considered more important than another. Because behind every order stands a person placing their trust in you.
Time did its work.
The hand grows steadier. Experience sharpens the eye. Clients return, then tell others about PortMix. What was once a workshop gradually becomes a company recognised for the quality of its work, its reliability, and the care given to the smallest details.
Today, PortMix has a showroom in Echandens and a branch in Geneva. This growth is no coincidence. It is the result of thousands of hours of work, sometimes difficult choices, often invisible sacrifices, and a standard that has never wavered.
Every door is fitted with precision.
Every wardrobe is built to last.
Every walk-in closet is designed as a one-of-a-kind piece.
And every finish receives the same care, even when it will only ever be noticed by the person who made it.
Because quality isn't measured only by what can be seen. It is also found in everything that remains invisible.
But above all, PortMix is a family story.
The story of a couple who built their company together, day after day, with patience, courage and determination.
The story of three children who grew up to the rhythm of the workshops, the smell of wood, plans spread out on the table, and conversations that, more often than not, were about work as much as the future.
Every effort pursued the same goal: to build far more than a company.
